Mango Matcha Latte

Flavour your matcha latte with some homemade fresh or frozen mango puree. Mango has a really nice sweet taste which works really well with matcha.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp/2g Clearspring Premium Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder
- 60ml warm water - around 80 degrees
- 200ml cold plant milk - we used oat milk
- 2 tbsp mango puree - follow instructions below
To make the mango puree
- 1 fresh mango - cut to small pieces or 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- 2 tbsp maple syrup - optional
Tools
- Matcha bowl - a flat bottom bowl
- bamboo whisk
- bamboo spoon or 1 tsp spoon
Method
- Soak the bamboo whisk in warm water to soften the whisk area. Add 1tsp/ 2 chashaku Japanese bamboo spoon amount of Clearspring organic premium grade matcha to the matcha bowl. Pour 60ml warm water around 80 degrees. Take the soaked whisk and whisk in an M or W movement in the matcha bowl until the powder is blended and frothy.
- place the mango puree at the bottom of the serving glass. Place ice on top and pour cold plant milk of choice.
- Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the ice to create the layer of matcha in the glass. stir and enjoy in the sunshine.
To make the mango puree - add fresh or frozen mango and maple syrup (optional for extra sweetness) into a blender and blend until smooth. Save the rest for another time.
