Tofu Sashimi with Tamari & Shichimi Togarashi

A simple and delicious Japanese Sashimi-style dish, which is made using our Organic Silken Tofu and cucumber. Perfect as a side dish to go with noodles or rice, when you want something refreshing with your meal. In Japan it is very common to eat soft silken tofu straight out of the pack. In this recipe we have drizzled our award-winning Tofu with a mix of sesame oil, tamari and Organic Shichimi Togarashi - Seven Spice Blend.

Ingredients
- 1 pack Clearspring Organic Silken Tofu (Refrigerate before use)
- ½ cucumber - sliced
- handful cherry tomatoes - cut in half
- 1-2 tsp Clearspring Yaemon Tamari Soya Sauce
- 1 tsp Clearspring Organic Pure Toasted Sesame Oil
- ½ tsp Clearspring Shichimi Togarashi - Seven Spice Blend
Method
- Open the pack of tofu, drain the water and place the block of tofu on a chopping board. Cut the tofu into thin slices.
- Wash and peel the cucumber and cut it in half, then slices to make half-moon shapes.
- Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half or in quarters.
- On a large serving plate or flat slate, arrange the tofu, cucumber and cherry tomatoes in rows.
- Drizzle the tamari followed by toasted sesame oil. Finish with a sprinkle of Clearsprings new Organic Shichimi Togarashi - Seven Spice Blend.
- Serve cold.
