Description

Gyokuro is the most highly regarded Japanese green tea made from tea leaves which are grown in the shade for 20 days and then gently steamed to bring out the rich, complex umami flavour and exquisite aroma. We only use the finest organic tea leaves grown in the Kyoto and Kyushu regions of Japan, so that you can enjoy a truly authentic Japanese tea experience with Clearspring Gyokuro.

How to Use

Place 2 heaped teaspoons of tea in a teapot. Boil 200ml fresh water and leave to cool to approximately 60°C before pouring over the tea. For the best flavour infuse for 3 minutes and enjoy.

Really quite good

Seems quite expensive but really good flavour. I use a small pinch per cup and the tin lasts a good three months, so very good value overall. Tastes best using fresh Brita or similar filtered water at around 80 degrees temp.

Great product, with one small improvement needed

I chose this product because it’s organic, sealed in a natural container (no plastic), and so forth. One thing I would like from this product is for it to contain no printing around the rim where the lid seals the container to avoid any potential printing material from rubbing off and going into the tea. Otherwise perfect!
