Miso is a traditional Japanese fermented whole soya seasoning that makes a rich, satisfying soup. Clearspring authentic mellow white miso soup is a light variety made in Japan without MSG, added sugar or artificial flavourings.

Freeze-dried miso (89%) (whole soya beans, rice, sea salt, roasted barley flour) , dried green onion (7%), freeze-dried tofu (4%) (whole soya beans, kuzu, nigari {coagulant}).

How to Use

To prepare, empty the contents of one sachet into a bowl or a cup and add 1 cup (200ml) of hot water. Stir well and enjoy hot.

Had to discard

On seeing the Vegan logo, I purchased this soup, however back home when I looked at the ingredients - I noticed that the product was not compliant
with the logo. Unfortunately I have had to report this to the relevant food standards authorities.

It's not entirely clear, but we believe you may be referring to the 'May contain traces...' statement. This product is made with 100% vegan ingredients and certified by the Vegan Society.

The cross-contamination statement is there because allergens are handled on the same production line. Although the risk of cross-contamination is extremely low, we feel that sharing this information with the public will inform people, especially ones with severe allergic reactions of the possible risk to them.

Deliciously Convenient

I happily stumbled across this product whilst browsing around my local organic food shop in London.
I keep a few boxes in my work desk draw in the office. Perfect for those days when leave the house in a rush without lunch.
The miso soup is full of flavour, and warms me up nicely during these colder months. I will continue to stock up my desk with this quick and easy lunch/snack favourite of mine.
