As lovely as a bag of dulse

As children (in Belfast) we would buy paper bags of red dulse from the sweet shop. To this day the pursuit of the perfect dulse is a family badge of honour. (not too wet, not too dry, not too gritty). My father was fond of producing a bag of dulse to test the unsuspecting English boyfriends I bought home who invariably wrinkled their noses in polite confusion at this 'treat' . However I digress, this Atlantic Sea Salad is absolutely lovely and has all the beautiful umami aromas of good quality sea veg. It takes me right back, and I have to stop myself popping a generous pinch in my mouth when I walk past an open box. I mix it through sushi rice for delicious onigiri, sprinkle it on fish, use it to top salads and noodles. It adds a perfect umami lift to everything it settles on. Healthy and organic to boot.

A great classic Clearspring product, I love the seaweedy-tasting things to sprinkle on almost anything!
