Miso is a traditional Japanese fermented whole soya paste that makes a rich, satisfying soup. This organic paste combines only the highest quality ingredients, naturally aged to a deliciously full-bodied, hearty flavour.

How to Use

To prepare, empty the contents of one sachet into a bowl or a cup and add approximatively 1 cup (200ml) of hot water. Stir well and enjoy hot.

disappointing taste

I love miso and sea vegetables, and eat organically, so this soup ticks all the boxes for me. However, to me it doesn't taste rich, satisfying, fresh, smooth or delicious, all the adjectives used to describe it. To me it tastes flat and slightly musty, as if it was made a long time ago, and all the authentic ingredients have lost their distinctive flavours. I am concerned too by the amount of plastic used for the individual sachets. They don't seem to have preserved any freshness, which presumably is the intention when packaging a paste in this way. A powder version of this soup, packaged in glass, would probably taste just the same.

Tasty clean soup, great for digestion

It can be difficult finding good healthy clean soups without the usual artificial nasty’s, but clearspring deliver a great tasting soup again.
I’d recommend everyone has a good miso in the house

Interesting taste

Interesting taste, I added 1/2 a teaspoon of vegan gravy granules to round it out a bit. When I brought it I missed the Instant soup line, a thought it was an ingredient rather then a cup of soup mix.
