How to Use

instant soup paste

sadly this wasn't my taste at all. I like miso soup and I love ginger so I thought this would be very convenient, but I didn't enjoy it at all. It might be a marmite thing though ( you either hate it or love it), There's nothing wrong with the product and if you enjoy it, it would be very convenient, just not for me

Smells great, tastes bland

The smells of ginger and turmeric coming from the bowl are great, but unfortunately this soup doesn't really taste of either. It leaves an odd musty aftertaste, and is surprisingly bland. I eat Clearspring miso every morning with my breakfast rice porridge, but couldn't really taste the miso in this soup, which I wouldn't describe as umami-rich. As with the other soups in this range, its packaging as paste in sachets uses a lot of plastic. Since the soup doesn't taste fresh, I wonder if packaging it as a powder in a jar would be possible. It would allow consumers to decide how strong to make it, and avoid creating more plastic pollution.
