VERY GOOD TEA

high quality tea as always . two teabags in a cup makes a strong roasty drink that tastes like coffee but without the bitterness or caffeine . pleasant aroma

Hi oceangate, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Organic Japanese Hojicha tea. We're sorry to hear that it wasn't to your liking. Your description sounds like our Genmaicha tea, which contains roasted rice, so we will pass this feedback along to our quality team to investigate. If possible, please provide the P/E dates on the pack to help with our investigation.

Tastes Good

I order these via ebay. In my opinion they taste better than green tea but they cost a lot more per teabag. They are well packaged and have a very pleasant flavour. I have read that they have health benefits and they are very low in caffeine. Although I think Matcha has greater health benefits but then you have the downside of the high caffeine content in Matcha. If you can handle it, it might be worth eating some of the leaves from these Hojicha teabags after finishing your drink in order to get the full health benefits.

Refreshing yet relaxing

This is by far my favourite tea. It’s invigorating, but relaxing at the same time. Basically just makes you happy. How is that possible? I was upset I couldn’t find it at my local waitrose anymore and was so happy to see it’s still sold online.
