ORGANIC SCOTTISH SEA VEGETABLE AND BLACK PEPPER OATCAKES are made to our original vegan and no-added-sugar recipe using only the finest organic ingredients. They are lovingly baked to perfection in small batches by fourth generation craft bakers in the Scottish Highlands. Each oatcake is packed with the natural flavour of wholegrain oats. Carefully selected ingredients are the secret to the delicious flavour and creamy texture of our oatcakes. A unique blend of the finest organic pinhead oats, rolled oats & oatmeal and olive oil instead of lower quality saturated fats and unrefined sea salt for a good savoury taste.

Tastiest, no problematic ingredients best on the retail shelf

So fed up when i read the ingredients of so called healthy oat cakes on the supermarket shelves, they do not use good oils , there are often additives. This is such a good product and with the black pepper and seaweed neither overpowering nor is it bland. A great healthy snack when on the go , look at the ingredients and nutritional info you will be impressed even before you taste one

These are delicious oatcakes, and remind me of the seaweed soda bread we used to have many years ago. It's a bit of a Marmite division in our house, with some loving them - like me - and others preferring the plain oatcakes. Firm agreement all round that Clearspring oatcakes, whatever the flavour, are the tastiest oatcakes we've had. I've seen a few other comments mentioning how great it would be if the wrapping went plastic-free, and good to read that Clearspring are also investigating. Though if they did that, they would have to add another star to the review so I could give them six :)
