50% sunflower oil in this product

I have always believed in Clearspring as an avid fan of Macrobiotic food over 20 years. I have never felt I need to check the list of ingredients on any of their products.

I think that they are wrong to sell a product that is 50% sunflower oil in the seaweed.

Their Toasted Nori is 91% seaweed with no oil in it. I thought this product was the same but with a hint of tumeric.

I cant believe Clearspiring has changed in this way. Japan sells a lot of junk food I hope Clearspring doesnt go in this direction.

Ingredients: Sunflower oil*, toasted nori sea vegetable* (47%), sea salt, turmeric* (2%).

Hi Michelle, thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

All of our Japanese and Atlantic sea vegetables are in raw, dried form and this particular product is the only exception, as it's a popular ready-to-eat snack from Korea.

Something to consider here is the weight of this product. At only 4g, it is a fraction of the weight of a bag of crisps for example, and therefore a fraction of the amount of oil too..

As always though, everything in moderation.

Please rest assured, we have not lost our values and have no intention of selling junk food.

All feedback is welcome though, so thank you.

Seaweed and turmeric

I was given a packet of seaweed and turmeric at the allergy show and was very impressed with them . I guess there are other flavours and I've ordered a lot more of them ! Delicious 😋

Delicious - I eat them everyday

These seaveg crispies are the best, I have tried many different brands including ones from Korea. These are light on oil, with a decent amount of salt but not too much, and lovely and crisp. A great way to get seaweed into your body. My whole family loves them, we are addicted. BUT... Clearspring really needs to find a better way to package them so that the plastic is reduced - so I have deducted a star.

Tasty

I really enjoy these, very tasty and I try to have plenty of turmeric so these are ideal although it is only a mild flavour.
